Objectives
- To enhance the facilities for foreign language learning to strengthen language skills in English, French, and Spanish for science and technology of the VLIR-IUOS/ UO members and at same time strengthen the links between the eastern Universities of Cuba so that the benefits of the infrastructure and results of the project are available and attainable.
Main Focus
- Training in English for science and technology
- Training in French for communicative purposes
- Training in Spanish for Belgian counterparts
Attention Areas
- Increase the scientific degree and performance of the foreign language teachers at Universidad de Oriente
- Improvement of foreign language teaching at UO
- Creation of the Centre for Advanced Training on Foreign Languages (CATFLAG)
